Regional Discovery
The Company has identified the Northern and Southern areas of its tenement package as being highly prospective ground for large copper / gold or gold regional discoveries. The ground is located approximately 85km west of Parkes and is supported by a high-quality road network.
A recent review of historical geological and geophysical datasets of the Southern area supported the interpretation of a circa 9km wide by 15km block of Ordovician rock sequence instead of younger Silurian – Devonian age rocks.
This is a significant reinterpretation as it makes the rocks prospective for Northparkes, Cadia and Cowal type deposits. Discussions with exploration juniors and technical experts support this interpretation.
In the Northern area, a review of historical data is underway, with early indications suggesting this is a block of older Ordovician rocks that were previously interpreted as younger Siluro – Devonian age.
The area is a circa 4km wide by 10km block of approximately 40km2, with reconnaissance mapping 30% complete. Historical aircore drilling data indicates there is a zone of anomalism of greater than 400ppm copper that extends for over 3km in length and almost 1 km in width.
Future work programs will assess the potential for both the Southern and Northern areas via a two-phase program with the overall goal of testing the area for mineralised systems of significant size.

Complete Airborne Magnetics and Radiometrics coverage of the entire tenement package was completed in early 2017.
